Video: Windows 7.0 Beta First Look

Please check out this video I did, taking a first look at the new Operating System from Microsoft: Windows 7 Beta. I found that although this OS is marked at BETA— it ran great. It is running on a VMware Fusion guest with 1 CPU and 1GB of RAM. — running on Macbook Pro hardware. I was going to cover an actual install; however, we had some issues with the recording software. The install is VERY similar Vista or Winows 2008 Server. *Remember to “full screen” the video for more detail. Also, the audio may be a little low – might want to use headphones.

Enjoy,

Wow. It’s funny seeing you guys get excited over the snipping tool and the new file sorting features. I’ve been using both of these features in Vista for the past two years.

Heheh… Well, I really haven’t used Vista very much. I switched to Apple Macs about 3 years ago. Still using WinXP at work. However, it looks like Win7 is pretty nice and more stable than Vista.

    Thanks for the comment!,
